• Kourban means oblation-gift, a movement of kindness to the

impotents, it is sharing. The celebration starts early in the morning.

All men go to the mosque to pray and then, the sacrifice of the lamb

(kourban) starts. The meat is prepared to be distributed to the poor

families who can't afford their own kourban.
